Still nothing ? i think the dm8000 box dies before there`s an update

;o(, I am like you, all my boxes at home are DM8000HD, waiting as you the new drivers for DM8000HD...

All the images the Team releases are compiled for DM8000HD as well, but the bit missing is the DM8000HD Patched Drivers.

Do you hapen to have a script that checks if start is successful, so if the tuner works if not(no data transponder(timeout reading PAT)) restart properly until it works ? today the box hanged and i`m now almost 45 minutes further pressing menu 5 and 3 so the dm8000 restarts hoping it picks up after a reboot, i`m no programmer but i think this can be scripted.

Difficult to do such thing, as the box thinks all is good, but in fact the Drivers load but doesn't want to function in full.

It's important to note that turning OFF power and ON, is much more successful. Doing just a reboot with the Remote Control is like doing mostly no real reset and so, has not much influence to get a good boot.

ok i would guess not getting a proper time from the dvb network could make a check , that could trigger a reboot.

The same result will happen if there is no stream as well... so a channel that changed PID, etc... it's just better to continue the driver patching work than messing around with "nasty" tricks that will not be 100%.

The DM8000HD is now fully supported and working with the release of the latest drivers Kernel 3.2 by Japhar Team.
