Hi all,

I need some help with my DM box. Yesterday I spot some problems with "tune failed" message and I cant move my motor dish. All things were OK till that moment when I try to watch channel on different satellite. I turn off box and power on it several times and after tens of reboots it starts working ok, I donno what I do and how it start to work fine again...

Problems appeared again this morning. Same problems. I tried to move my motor dish for new channel and problem is here again. I can't move dish and its very strange... I tried several times to turn it off and power on... and nothing.

When I start it I can see 5 small (tiny) red LEDs on the motherboard. When I power the box they starts flashing and after few seconds only 3 of them are lighting, 2 of them are off.

Can you help me with this issue? Where and how to start finding the problem(s)?

As I sad, my box is DM800HDse + Japhar sim + OpenPLI v22.

EDIT: Sometimes it stop booting and all 5 red LEDs are light, not flashing.

EDIT 2: Sometimes it stops before lights up 5 red LEDs.

Try to replace the PSU, that seem to be at end of it's life probably, not giving enough power to the box,

oh shit, that means i have to buy the new one.
I can only use and watch IPTVs now. It's working fine.

where to find it (spare PSU)? do u have some suggestions?

If you have an HDD inside, try to remove it just temporarly, to see if this changes something.

no, i dont have HDD inside, i have boot files on USB.

Can i try to use PSU with same output: 12 - 3A 36W which is not specified for use with box?

OK thanks, new AC adapter solved this problem.

I bought new 12V - 3A AC adapter in my local store and it works fine. I payed it 50% less then price on ebay.
