And try to reflash the image "clean" with the Bad Sector Recovery enabled, perhaps it could help, also be sure you have enough Flash space available before adding anything... if not do the clean script to get some Flash available, less then 1 Mb at the final is not good, and you need to have 2-3 Mb at least before any installation.
