Try to replace the drivers by known working drivers from other images where your tuners are recognized.

You need to take drivers from a working image (where Tuners are recognized, and copy the files into the same folder but on that image that fails to recognize the tuners). It's generally important to use the same kernel version drivers. On the example below it's kernel 2.6.18-7.4.

Folder in the box should be something like

/lib/modules/2.6.18-7.4-dm8000/extra
