Switch from BetaV4 to v3-v5 or vice-versa (ONLY for Kernel 3.2 images)

1) Go to the "JAM"
2) Select the "Support OpenPLi 4.0/5.0+/6.0+ IPTV by Japhar"
3) At the end of the list you have 2 options
a) "Upgrade DM800HDse Kernel 3.2 image to BetaV4 Japhar Sim"
b) "Upgrade DM800HDse Kernel 3.2 image to v3-v5 Japhar Sim"

If your sim is older than June-July 2017, it will be certainly a v3. DM800HDse Sims in June-July 2017 were BetaV4 for beta tests, and can be reflashed to v3-v5.

Images in this section are BetaV4 images, but you can tranform them to v3-v5 or you can take a v3-v5 to be used as BetaV4, with these 2 options above.

Reboot the box and it will work.

The BetaV4 was a Temporary release, so it's good to swtich to v3 OS, to have continuous images support and keep compatibility with older images like OpenPLi 4.0 IPTV (also if you can just adapt them to BetaV4 just with the option described above from JAM).

P.S.: Attached as well the secondstage Japhar SSL84J, if you replace the driver (as explained above) and the SSL, then your image will become a Japhar image.

I have v3 OS on my sim and i just done upgrade to v3-v5.
Can i now use also Beta V4 images or i must again reflash sim to Beta v4 through JAM ?

You can flash a BetaV4 image, but you will need thru the JAM to replace the driver by the v3-v5 one as explained on the first post, reboot the box and the image will work with your sim that has v3 OS,

Well im guessing my sim is a v3 and im on blackhole v22 whats the procedure for this just flash v3-v5 and thats it will the new images still work on barryallen just curious because having v22 in the flash i found out most of them dont go past the logo i know that openpli wont work with ba but i tried the new blackhole 4.0+ and no luck either

Remember one thing, and this is the reason why I don't use Mutiboot, you cannot mix the SSL/Drivers having different ones, these must be all the same for all images in multiboot.

So personally I flash only 1 image / box. The v3 sim is compatible with the v3-v5 images, so just flash the image, but remember that we released on these new images, new drivers, so these are different from the old drivers we used with v22... so if falls on the "no compatibility" category between images that doesn't have the same drivers.

I just flashed the new 4.0+ now i just have to restore all the plugins i had in the other v22 im backing up my BA pen to install ba on this image from scratch if im able waws a nightmare to get it ok on v22.
Because i dont have time now to flash my old v22 backup and extract the plugins plus the fixed full backup script i got just need ba to extract the nfi and copy everything
