JapharSIM to SIM2.1

Hi Guys,
My son wants an image on his Box that is NOT yet made compatible by the Japhar Team.
It is already on the List of Images to make, so I will wait patiently untill its ready.
I have the image BUT it only works on SIM2.1
How do I go back FROM >>J/SIM on his DM800se TO >>SIM2.1?
Do I just change the J/SIM to SIM2.1 and Flash image.?
OR
Do I need to Flash SIM2.1 SSL first and Change SIM and then SIM2.1 image:?
As soon as the Japhar Team make the image compatible I can change again back ti J/SIM correct.?

Thanks but it is NOT a openPLi image...! The above method is only for PLI images or NOT.? He has a J/SIM in Box DM800se and wants to Flash back another image..that image is ONLY for SIM2.1 I dont want to go thru complete procedure with Flashers to remove CA Errors again..! So how can I Flash any Patch/Kernel change if Box is Blocked.? Sorry dont understand Thanks

If you want to convert a Sim2 image to Japhar, you just need to replace the SSL by the SSL84J and replace the driver with the JAM 5.x or by replacing the files as linked above.
Then your image will become a Japhar Compatible image,

Hi Guys,
I have found a very easy way to get back to SIM2.1 with my sons DM800se.
Leave JapharSIM inside.
Put DM800se into Browser Flash mode.
Flash the desired image which has the SSL84D inside with the Browser and Kill Box at rear.
DO not re-boot.!!
Open Box replace the JapharSIM with the old SIM2.1 and switch Power back ON.
Ready.
I did NOT wont to start messing around with Drivers and Kernel, so decide I will go this way.
Just waiting for a new 1TB Portable 2.5 slim SATA III HDD to install.
