i was trying to update an old OpenPli image (Arthur-backup-PLI-dm800-sim-2.01-Iptv-DTTa867-NEW.nfi) to the latest patches from the japhar repo but upgrading the package dreambox-secondstage-dm800 from 84-r20 to 84-r24 (i guess from SSL84D, where the image is working, to SSL84J)

will cause a "No CA Found", and is show to view dm7020.com for more info (on the oled), but this is a dm800!

i've also sent the SSL84J (downloaded from here http://www.ourdreambox.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=showflat&Number=2650#Post2650) via serial but whit the same result

so, whats wrong? the package in the repo? SSL84J incompatible whit my Sim2.01?

You need to upgrade your box to a Japhar Sim (replace your old sim with a Japhar sim that you can find at http://www.japhar.com/japhar/), you cannot use images from other teams (estar, Ferrari, Japhar) with your old unsupported Sim2 Sim.

The Japhar Sim is capable of running all images Sim2 2.01, Sim2 2.10, Sim Ferrari and Sim Japhar... not the other sims.

Yes, SSL84d is latest SSL from Sim2 Team as they closed and stopped all support.

Ferrari, Japhar images (supporting also IPTV) cannot be used naturally, or you would need to change the sim to the new Japhar Sim (Supports all Sim software, Sim2-Ferrari-Japhar).
