Generally it's "root", then no password or "dreambox", naturally connect with FTP/Telnet and not SSH (that needs a password and will not be able to access the box if there is no password set).

The best tools are WinSCP (FTP) and Putty (Telnet or SSH mode), to access the Linux boxes ;o). You find them with Google on the web.
