I have Dm800SE with Japhar NC3 (v3-v5). I installed OpenPLi 6.1++, or 6.1+. Everything is fine, but the box is not visible through a network browser. Is it a property or an error? Can I allow hdd sharing over the network? And how?
When installing the OpenPLi 4+, box is visible through a network browser.

Samba was removed after the OpenPLi 4.0, to leave enough space for the improvement of the image.

If you want to see your box in the network as a Network disk, you have to expand the Flash with an external memory (Flash Memory Dongle, etc) and install Samba.

In the feeds,

opkg update

and then search for the packages samba it could be something like

opkg install samba-base

or

opkg update
opkg install samba

No, you just need to use the opkg update command and then the samba opkg install command.

It works for Japhar Team images, directly without searching for every ipk file needed, as it will load all what it needs automatically (the ipk files when used with opkg, know which files it needs).

Personnally I would prefer to just move with a symlink the folders, yes, much better approach ;o)
