And to get the LED flashing works and because it so far it is not?
For me it was never blinked when are saved in the laptop!

Try other USB Port or other computer, the GCR2 programmer needs good USB connection and powered connection. Some computers could not give enough power, also check the Control Panel, Hardware section to see if it's recognized or not.

As we wrote you, please tell us which OS you are using, we need the exact version and the Device Manager panel screenshot.

You guys clearly are masters of designing this GCR2 programmer with its software and the Japhar software/hardware.

But sadly the instructions on how to use the programmer and where to find this instructions PDF doc file is simply impossible!

It took me already several hours of searching on the Japhar Forum for any useful help, and I gave up after reading many useless links and info's. HELP!

The FAQ is available on the OS section (of every box), with the OS file when you download it. From Win7 you will need to flash twice the file as the first time it erases the OS on the sim card, and the second time it will update with the new OS you want to load. On WinXP it does all at once.

Didn't help. Tried it on Windows 7 and 10. Windows 10 searches for an inf. driver file. Same probably goes for Windows 7.
Windows 7 and 10 undoable picked a Microsoft smartcardreader WUDF driver.

I gave up. To little info to go on.

It auto installs, from Windows feeds.

You need to just insert the usb cable and confirm you want to install from the Windows Update center.

For Win7 you also have the drivers on first post, but it should install from Windows Update already, so no driver should be installed at all ! Just insert the programmer and it will work.
