This image had file/folder permission issue affecting ftp.
find / -user 1001 -exec chown root:root {} \;
reboot to allow ftp to start properly
Just correct it and ftp will be working
Same old same old password of clone Dreambox.
No root password for telnet.
root FTP, the usual d~x
