Does anyone know if its possible to remove the Sim chip and replace with a japhar Sim. On the motherboard where the Sim chip is there is a Sim card connector and I was wondering if the soldered chip can be removed and a Sim card connector installed so that I can use a japhar Sim ( I already have the japhar Sim for this box). I bought the box thinking it was a clone but turns out to be original.
Has anybody done this mod?
I can solder surface mount parts so soldering to me is easy!

Yes, this is possible another member that had a clone and bought a second box that was original transformed both to Japhar.

For the Original box, you need to softly remove the chip (to keep) with a solder iron and then install a sim support, to insert the Japhar Sim (For the Original box transformation, there is a dedicated Japhar DM900UHD OS, to transform to Clone compatiblity, when buying let us know).

Thanks for the information. Just one thing, I already purchased a japhar Sim only 2 weeks ago for this DM900, are you saying there is a special japhar sim to convert to clone?
If this is correct can I reprogram the japhar Sim that I have without buying another one?

Exactly you will get an email with the OS needed to be reflashed to the Japhar Sim with a PC/SC Programmer (like the GCR2 that is PC/SC you find on http://www.japhar.com/japhar/).

You can use any fully compatible PC/SC Reader, to convert your sim to Japhar "DM900UHD Original" Sim version.
