Hi there,
I would like to know why for this decoder (dm8000) there aren't any more updates of the firmware: New OpenPLi 7Star IPTV .

The DM8000HD images are built specially for the Japhar/DM8000HD box, these have a different kernel and a lot of differences. The difference between the v6 and v7 are not enough to justify few weeks of work just for small differences. Le v6* is already great for the DM8000HD Japhar, and a big improvement compared with older images, and it works perfect, use it. Once we will have the new Kernel 3.2 drivers for DM8000HD, then it will be much more smooth to get new images/updates as we do for all the other boxes where we have the latest drivers patched for Japhar. For DM8000HD the needed new drivers are still missing to have the same rate/quantity of images as for the other boxes.
