It's normal that you have the same problem, as you didn't changed the ISO Characters used in your Channel List (Bulgarian and Chinese).

[eDVBTextEncodingHandler] unsupported table in encoding.conf: iso6397.
[eDVBTextEncodingHandler] encoding.conf: couldn't parse bul iso6397

[eDVBTextEncodingHandler] unsupported table in encoding.conf: iso3166-2.
[eDVBTextEncodingHandler] encoding.conf: couldn't parse cn iso3166-2

4097 is correct, why are you changing it ? It has nothing to do with the Chinese or Bulgarian language used that is not compatible.

These two ISO are not supported by the image, you need to remove these channels or change the names of the channels to have them using standard ISO.

Hi @Admin, @ToySoft,

I already understood.
But I am a newbie.

#
Chinese or Bulgarian language used which is not compatible:
[eDVBTextEncodingHandler] unsupported table in encoding.conf: iso6397.
[eDVBTextEncodingHandler] encoding.conf: couldn't parse bul iso6397

[eDVBTextEncodingHandler] unsupported table in encoding.conf: iso3166-2.
[eDVBTextEncodingHandler] encoding.conf: couldn't parse cn iso3166-2
#

I need your help setting up:
- Where do I find the file I should change?
- Where I find the code table to use.
- I have M3U Files from Portugal and Brazil. Will give the same error?
- If possible, how should I configure addresses so that I am not always changing / reconfiguring?

Sorry for the inconvenience.
Thank you very much.

It's text, your M3U file needs to be standard ISO and not Bulgarian and chinese. So you need to properly modify your M3U to have the correct ISO characters (not Bulgarian and not Chinese). Then only you can convert it with the tool and upload it to the box that finally will recognize the channel list as it has the right ISO Characters.

Hi @Admin, @ToySoft,

Yes, I understood.
What I don't understand is how to do it.
What "tool" to use? The same "setup"?

I need this information.
And maybe an example if it's not too much to ask.

Sorry for the inconvenience.
Thank you very much.

You need to save it in a normal ISO format, and not in Bulgarian or Chinese.

Generally I personally use the Notepad, that automatically changes all characters to standard ones, saving the file it will tell you that you will loose the special characters, and this is exactly what you want, to have a clean file without ISO from Bulgaria and China.

Hi @Admin, @ToySoft,

I did not succeed:
- I opened the M3U file with Notepad and also with Notepad ++. With both editors, I recorded as ISO.
ISO File cannot be converted, only an M3U File.
But after recording on M3U, converting and sending to Box, I was unsuccessful. The same mistakes.

SOLUTION:
I opened File M3U with VLC, and saved a new File M3U.
Sorted out.

Sorry for the inconvenience.
Thanks and hugs.

Where did we told you to save as ISO ?... we use Notepad (and not Notepad++)...

Good that you found a tool that converted it to pure text format, compatible.

So now you know why it didn't worked, you had a file with the wrong format (in Bulgarian and Chinese).

Enjoy,

Admin

Hi @Admin, @ToySoft,

Sorry, I misunderstood. I understood that should save in ISO.

So I should:
FIRST: open the M3U file with Notepad;
SECOND: save the file with the same name and type (M3U).
THIRD: Follow the conversion and shipping procedure to Box.

It's correct?

Thank you for your attention, patience and care.
Hugs.

Yes, Notepad (at least on WinXP and Win7), removes all special characters/ISO, and so you have a clean text file after.
