I am new to this Dreambox business but appears to be full on with things you can do.
I am trying to get my Dreambox DM800se to work.
After not using it for few years I decided to turn it on but it would get stuck on the loading screen I think it was newnigma2 but I was still able to go to menu and do all the settings stuff but the programs would play up / freezing up all the time.
I went to dreamboxupdate.com and download a firmware and uploaded using network and since I get "NO CA ERROR" on the screen.
I downloaded Japhar Flasher 1.1 and tried to flash with "secondstage-dm800se-84-allsim" but I get an error message:
lcd***SERIAL MODE***
I have SIM2 in my box (sim2.10).
Not sure what is the right order/way to get this thing to work.
If someone can help that would be much appreciated?

Hello Australia,

Here you have the Tutorial on how to restore your box, but remember that you have a Sim2 2.10 inside, so you can only flash to the box Sim2 images/software.

You will have to do as explained in the PDF Tutorial above.

As we are the Japhar Sim Forum, we don't have images from (dead) other teams. So you will need to go on internet and try to find an image for your DM800HDse v1 box.

If you want to replace the old unsupported Sim2 sim, you can put a Japhar Sim and then will have access to all the Japhar Images for DM800HDse v1 from the link below.

You can fix the box only using the DreamUp software or JapharFlasher, with a RJ45 cable from Box to Router/Modem, and a USB cable from service mini-usb port of the Box to the PC USB port. See the Tutorial about NO CA ERROR below,

There is no official OpenPLi for DM800HDse V2, you can see below the official page from OpenPLi, where there is no V2 (your box).

The only image you can find, that is suitable for your DM800HDse V2, that is not official is the one below, from Japhar Team to the community.

You have to work it by yourself (setup, bug fixes etc), as Japhar Team is only giving support to boxes upgraded to Japhar Sim.
