I solved the problem with japhar flasher and the extra option built into it, which has a repair of bad sectors and box again work good however, I found out that image for original DM 800HDse cannot be installed on a Japhar sim, despite being told here that it can, at least I didn't succeed

If you install an original image, you need to flash it, and prior to reboot, you need to flash the SSL84J. This done you will have to boot the box and replace the driver file in the driver folder,

in DM800HDseV2 the folder is : /lib/modules/3.2-dm800sev2/extra
and file to replace is : bcm7405.ko

On other boxes, it should be around the same (eg. dm800sev2 will be dm8000 or dm800se or dm500hd, etc), and the bcm file will always be a bcm7xxx.ko

I do exactly as you described but after flashing the image and then before rebooting I upload and ssl I get a green screen on the TV and no access to ftp. The receiver starts to load the image, the yellow bar on the display starts to move and after a while a green screen appears on the TV and everything stops.
i use DCC and FileZilla for ftp transfer

You must NOT flash the SSL after the image... as the image ALREADY has it inside.

Yes, I tried that, but then immediately after restarting, I get no ca found and box becomes unusable.
At the moment the receiver works with Open pli 7.3 star for japhar sim and it works well but the image is quite large and the flash is small and loads a lot and sometimes everything slows down and restarts itself, so I tried to upload a little bit small image to leave more free space in the memory.

If you get NO CA FOUND, it means the image you uploaded wasn't a Japhar image... only with Japhar images you must not again flash the SSL as it's already in the image.

With other images for other sims, you will naturally have to flash at the end the SSL for your sim, before rebooting.

I can't quite understand you. Maybe there's something small I'm not doing right to make it work. My question is now that the receiver is working with a Japhar sim image and I decided to try to install an image for the original DM 800HDse, what exactly should I do?

and I realized that I don't have to install ssl in the japhar image because it's already in it. But then how exactly do I fool the receiver and get it to work with an original image

If you want to install an original image you will have to do this :

1) Flash the original image to the box
2) Flash the SSL84J for Japhar
3) Turn off the box
4) Boot the box, and then with FTP replace the driver file (bcm7405.ko) in /lib/modules/3.2-dm800se/extra by the one from the patched drivers that is named as well bcm7405.ko

You will find for the DM800HDse (v1) the driver/ssl on the topic below,

I do everything exactly as described but it doesn't work. After the third option, the receiver starts to boot but gets to a green screen and I can't get to FTP to change the driver BCM 7xxx.ko

Which image are you trying to patch ? Is it an original OpenPLi 4.0 ?
