It should work fine, if the box doesn't want to boot... perhaps the original drivers are trying to stop you from patching them... could be. If you have an original Sim / A8P, put it back, install the image and modify the bcm7xxx.ko file with the Japhar One. Do a backup of the image. This done, flash the SSL84J. Turn off the box and replace the A8P sim by the Japhar, and boot the box. It should work and be patched. Do a backup of the image (so you have it in Japhar version).
