The box can be repaired yes, with the JapharFlasher tool, but you will have not much new images for that sim, so it could be good to upgrade to Japhar sim. See at http://www.japhar.com/japhar/Open the box and check your sim, you have here the various models available and be sure you flash images compatible with the sim in the box or replace by the Japhar Sim that does them all.
