Skins must be compatible with OpenPLi 8 to work, and most of the skins around are only for specific images and versions.

So it's related to the skins... that need to be able to work with the image. You then need to install skins that are confirmed to be compatible with the image you have installed.

The backup tool is from openpli sources, and fails to compile due to the python, so you should try to source one that was patched to work with newer images.
