Hi,

I was wondering if such a Infinity USB Unlimited programmer from WB Electornics can be used to program the Japhar SIM card ?

Thanks,

RM2000

It's Phoenix and Smartmouse mode if I remember well... the Japhar software needs the standard Smartcard Reader called PC/SC that is Windows 100% compliant. It needs to be PC/SC Compliant as all Windows Smartcard official readers.

PS/SC is used for Health card, Carte Vitale, Carta Servizzi, eBanking cards, RATP French Metro card reader, Windows Login, Portugal Service Card, etc.

AS per there support matrix it seems to support almost everything but it does not mention this particular sim card so that is why I wanted to be sure and know if it will work on Japhar SIM card without the need to buy the programmer, since I own one.

Thanks,

Dear RM2000,

Can you please contact the manufacturer of the Infinity programmer that you own and ask them if it's PC/SC compliant or if they released a new driver to get it supporting PC/SC that is a Windows Standard, and all Windows machines (even laptops) if they have a smartcard reader have the PC/SC standard. All administration, login, health, ebanking readers are PC/SC... to our understanding the Infinity doesn't support PC/SC but could if they would release the proper driver.

In our side the programmer we use is the GCR2 from http://www.japhar.com/japhar/ that is the one used in many states for their Health/Doctor card, Army card, eBanking, Windows Login, etc etc.

Let us know,

Thanks,

Admin
