After flashing your openpli 9 no SAT channels are found.(DB 920)
Antenna ok works with DB 820.
Replacing /lib/modules/3.14-1.17-dm920/extrafiles with working ones from DB 820 made box unbootable
+ Cannot install Cooltvguide plugin.It shows "installed" but nothing is there.
Tried various versions.

Update bootloader, and reflash image, as it works on our boxes. Is the 8.xStar working ? Which tuner do you have on your box and installed on which Tuner slot ? Plugins must be compatible with the image, if what you state is correct, it means the plugin files you installed are not compatible. Better always to use the plugins from the feeds. Admin After flashing your openpli 9 no SAT channels are found.(DB 920)

Which slot it is in, A or B ? Try to change slot, Also first try the 8.xStar image. TS P.S.: DM820HD is having completely different chipset/CPU (MIPS), so software from it will never work on a DM900/DM920 that is ARM. Hope it's what you want:Si2166D(DVB -S2)

You mean with OpenPLi 8.xStar ? Admin Have 2 tuners a and b,scanned both.

Nope.With openpli 9;there was no hint that the image can only be used with iptv ??

No, the OpenPLi 9.xStar is based on the same receipes we use for OpenPLi 8.xStar, both do IPTV and DVB. It really depends of your Tuner I think, reason you should also try the 8.xStar to know and find out. TS Nope.With openpli 9;there was no hint that the image can only be used with iptv ??
