The Original has no sim but a TPM (there is 2 versions as we can see on photos of the TPM, the small square chip that was also used on the various v2 boxes, then that bigger one on a DM900UHD).

The clone Sim used was the one also used on the DM520HD/DM525HD clones, and DM900UHD Clones. Called and labelled "Sim 2.30".

I suspect these boxes DM520HD/DM525HD and DM900UHD to be pre-versions of the original boxes, like a first batch, that wasn't as planned, and sold as clones allowing the factory to add a sim having no TPM chip for them from DMM. Remember that DMM switched from Taiwan to Chinese factory, and the Chinese factory was one of the 3 sims Teams (there was Ferrari, Sim2 and estar). The 2.30 sim is very similar to one of these 3, you can easily see thru eyes, and software inside is definitely the same as well, so easy to deduct which one it was, and that was anyway the factory selected by DMM to produce boxes after they left Taiwan manufacturing, going to China.

Your box is original and first version with the first TPM chip (Smaller one), that was removed and replaced by a Japhar Sim. Perhaps the original TPM chip broke... and the only possible solution was a Japhar Sim.

Sim OS and image software provided for the Japhar Sim are different between the Clone and the Original box as there is differences on the bootloader between the two boxes (clone and original).
