I use the openpli 8.x version on my DM7020HDv1, don't have with me the DM7020HDv2 to test... but I did compile it and it was ok when I released the 8.x.

Try to reset also the BIOS of the box, via Telnet... just in case something is wrongly configured there. Remove all tuners as well, we never know that some drivers could fail. I had some issues with a v1, but that was one of the condensators/capacitors (where there is the 3 near to the smartcard reader) that was defective, so power was not enough and box stopping boot/freezing.

I hope that you just flash the image, and not overwrite anything like flashing after a new SSL, etc... that would explain it fails boot.

Try also to telnet to the box IP address, to see if it's a full reboot or only enigma2 that loops... changing and twisting with image always can get it having bad behaviors (like changing the SSL, as the SSL is compiled with the image and linked to the software in the image, so if you use another one the image could have some incompatibilities with the ssl you then flashed after the image. It's important always to use the image with it's built-in ssl and not replace it).

The software is now loaded. The screen is restarting. Now I'm waiting to see if it continues booting. It can take a while. I'm waiting patiently... the box shuts down again. It restarts... but unfortunately, this didn't help either.
Now I've installed a different version of PLI 12.3. and with that, the Dreambox 7020v2 boots normally again.
