Yes, you will have to use such type of cable, USB to RS232 to connect the box to the JapharFlasher, to restore the box.

JapharFlasher works fine with Win10, and I believe Win11 as well (it's mostly same OS Heart).

If you have access to an orignal Sim DM800HD (A2P), you could replace it to recover the box. The Japhar Sim will only support Sim2, Japhar, Ferrari and Sim 1.0, not the Original Sim.

To check if your cable is properly installed, you can try the Putty software in COM communication, on correct COM port, and you will see data on the screen (at 9600 bps speed)... you really need to select the right COM port, otherwise it will not work, and cable must be recognized by Windows (FTDI Drivers properly installed).
