It detects naturally also the DVB Tuner yes, and it does also IPTV. You have both, DVB and IPTV with it. If you don't then you have problem with your hardware or use it with other hardware than what it is built for.

We improved the version since the first versions, using newer drivers for example. But your image name doesn't give me a clue about the version of it, we are at Beta V10 now. Please give the link to it at least so I can find out exactly which version you talk about. As you can understand each new version has improvements and if used not in a normal planned way (Japhar) then it could not work naturally as improving means adding new functions that are Japhar related.

As wrote we improve our image at every build, so the images will work 100% everytime with a Japhar Sim. If you use another sim, then you face incompatibilties, and will need to adapt it loosing part of the improvements.

You should get a Japhar NC3 SuperSim3, as that sim is the Must, it can run all images, with no need of any more patching... I think it's the best investment that can be done for a DM800HD box (http://www.japhar.com/japhar/, and in the same time you support the costs of this forum).

VU+ Ferrari OpenPLi 4.0 image is the next goal of MastaG, so let's hope he is successful.

Yes, exactly. And the SuperSim3 NC3 Japhar is capable of running all images from Ferrari (eg. Raed/Fairbird), Japhar (eg. SuperSim Fairbird images) and Sim2 (2.01/2.10). SuperSim3 Nc3 is in fact 3 sim in 1. You don't need to change sim to run different images. I love it ;o) !

Hi all
I have put the japhar openpli 4 on my dm800hd. The image is fantastic but I need some help please.
1. I have a motorised dish, and can not find any Catseye settings in the Japhar plugins
Can anyone help with this ?
2. I have installed the autobouquet for 28.2e, but need the one that I can use on multi satellites. Is this available via the plugins download ?

All these things are not available thru the JAM 5.2, if you have the IPK we can always add them here if you post them as attachment to one of your posts.

I do not have the IPK for them but will search. Could you maybe add TSPANEL to JAM 5.2 ? I could get CATSEYE SETTINGS from there.

I tried to manually add TSPANEL through telnet using OPKG command and it said installed ok. However when I checked th plugins after reboot, it came with error on the box and said not installed. Maybe not compatable with OPENPLI 4 ?

If it doesn't install, first you need to have one that install correctly ;o), before going next step.

We don't use it, we use JAM 5.2 and all what we needed until today we installed on JAM 5.2,

Generally if members have extra things they need they can use the normal install procedures, with opkg install of the ipk they want installed. Naturally they have to have enough knowledge on what is compatible and what is not, like to know the differences between the Python 2.6 and 2.7, for OE2.x and OE1.6, mips32el, mipsel, mips32el-nf, etc.
