First thing you need to know is if your serial port is working.
Connect the box with a rs232 null modem cable, and check with a rs232 terminal modem software as Putty or Hyperterminal if the port still working.

And nearly forgotten to say.., Use wxp and a pc with a real db9 rs232 comport to flash the box.
