How to scan for virgin uk?

Id like to try all these new images for my cable setup but i cant tune in can someone help please?
I know the tuner is fine because in open atv you have the option to scan virgin uk and it picks them up no problem?
i believe i have the network id but may be wrong?

Use DreamSet, go into Addons,Plugins,Tools and Settings, you will have tools such as DreamSet that let you play with the settings/Channel Lists,

if i go into my open atv image and copy enigma settings into open pli image will that work?

Yes, this is the configuration I use to connect to my DM800HDse on my desk. Working 100% with OpenPLi 4.0 and DE-OpenBlackHole 1.4.

well your dm8000 isnt configured for cable is it? thats what i meant i can get it to connect to sat boxs but not cable??

Yes, you can import/export/modify/remove/copy the Channel List, cable, terrestrial, satellite, it's all same for a Settings software such as DreamSet. And I think it's the same for the IPTV List as well, it's another satellite/cable/terrestrial only.

Like i said install open atv 4.2 works no problem!
so tuner is fine!
have replaced my sim 2 with supersim and was hoping for up to date images that i could use with supersim if no is the answer no big deal!
if someone can share back up with supersim and open pli working with cable anywhere in uk then ive spent a good 24 hrs trying to get it tuned?
thats why i have asked for help.
