Playing with this Cortland ROM with my cousin, and he sent me this excerpt... I did not know this about the IIc or IIgs. Just tested this, and works!
Built-in Terminal Emulation!
Seems to work with the Cortland/IIbf ROM, ROM01, and ROM03 IIgs'es. I have not tried this on a IIc yet.
