Hi guys,

I hava a pingtech clone of DM500HD with Ferrari SIM.
I have tried to install the last OpenPLi 4.0 IPTV Japhar found at https://mega.nz/#!VMcAyQwC!Z4CxifG_3KpZ7EgULXs3KUQWp0Z88GSS8MW90MLYBkc
I had the INVALID IMAGE (OR OLD VERSION) error so I flashed the secondstage-dm500hd-84_allsim.nfi and then I tried again with the previous image.
It worked as this time it flashed it correctly.
However, when I reboot the box, it stays with black screen and it doesn't start in boot mode (holding power button) neither.

Can you please help me on this topic?
How can I install an image that work properly with IPTV?

You need to upgrade/swap your Sim to the Japhar NC3 Sim. You will find the sim here as you are a member of this forum : http://www.japhar.com/japhar/

All Japhar-Ferrari images supported : http://www.ourdreambox.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=postlist&Board=50&page=1

Your old Ferrari sim is only capable of running Ferrari images, and not Japhar images. Ferrari Images : http://www.ourdreambox.com/ubbthreads.php?ubb=postlist&Board=66&page=1

OK now it's clear.

But in the sub-forum you've written with only Ferrari images there is the first post (NEWS! Forum News and Announcements, January 2016) where it seems you've posted Japhar images and not Ferrari ones.
Am I wrong?

Is there an image to try IPTV on my current hardware?
Maybe Ferrari_OpenPLi-2.0-beta-dm500hd-20110409_TS_SSL80F ?

This is a "General Message", it is shown on all sections of the forum and concerns all the forum.

The Ferrari images are not capable of running IPTV for DM500HD... you need to gain IPTV to upgrade to Japhar sim.
