Hi Guys,
on one of my Dm8000's is the HDD NO longer being displayed in the Menu >> System >> Harddisk..
I am getting the Options
Harddisk Setup
Initialization
Filesystem Check
Its strange because the HDD is working correctly, its Recording...it Plays Back the Recordings etc..!
I can also set the "crossepg Config" to point to the HDD.

But in the section Menu >> Information >> About.... Detected HDD is displayed correctly.!!!

When I DCC/FTP into Box I can see all the correct Files in the HDD Folder ie..lost+found,backup,movies,usr,crossepg,
Dont really want to Initialize the HDD again because I will loose ALL the Films on it..

I am using the Japhar SuperSIM and the Pashaa updated "DOMICA 9 Pashaa SSL84J" image from here.!
any advice or solutions Guys..?
Thanks

So no one could give a idea or solution to this problem? eek

Not that I could, my method may lead to the loss of the hdd data.
Thinking of, startup without hdd, then with.
Other thoughts are software issue, or some issue with the hdd.

Johnny_B,
thanks for your reply, well as i wrote it seems to be working ok,
so as long as it is doing the Job I will leave it as is.!
you know the old english saying "if it aint broke ..dont fix it".!!!
maybe when I get the time, I will open the Box and check ALL the connections again.
Cheers
