In my DM7020HD v1 I'm using the Mastag image and understood that in the channel list it's possible to change the stream to be suitable to different codec (ext3, gstreamer, default).
I changed the initial code from 4097 to 5001 but the list is not recognized anymore: it's full of "N/A".
Any hint to solve the problem?

You need to be sure that your version is the right release, as this option was added on recent releases of OpenPLi 4.0 IPTV, and is not available before. So I think from v18 or v19 you can have it, but probably not before on older releases.

I have installed the OpenPLi 4.0 IPTV GStreamer 1.9.0.1 for 7020HD v1 ORIGINAL, and it's fantastic. So I think the image is right. But it doesn't recognize the channel list with 5001" prefix.
Is there a configuration somewhere to choose gstreamer rather than default??

The "installation/setup" is possible only if the image is pre-built with it.

If the Channel ID is not recognized it means it's not supported. But this extra way was built for the DM800HD/DM800HDse/DM500HD, as the DM7020HD and other new models with GStreamer can already run smoothly and don't need that other Streaming mode.

At what I can see that extra way was implemented from the version of June 27th.

So can you please advise me which OPENPLI image is suitable for my DM to watch IPTV? Consider that I have an original one, with original SIM.
Or do I have to change the SIM?

The image you have loaded/flashed from us is already the best as the GStreamer 1.9.0.1 is already top level (we published only the 1.9.1.1 since).

So you can use what you already have that should work smoothly,

Ok, so you say to use it but with dvdmediasink as default for IPTV channels, and don't use gstreamer?
Sorry for long thread but I'm newbie:)

GStreamer is the libraries and basis software, that then is used by the Media Players.

So just when you play streaming, it will automatically use GStreamer software and libraries.
