The drivers for Wifi, DVB-T, etc are linked to the image, so you can only install the drivers built for the image. The image installed needs to have available the drivers. You cannot install drivers from other origins. If you do, it will not work.

So in such cases, you need to know which image you have installed, which SSL/Sim, and which dongle (PID/VID) you want installed.
