Mipsel VS ARM, what does change? - 09/01/20 07:28 PM

Hi,

I ordered an DM900UHD. Which are main practical changes?
I.E. do plugins like E2iplayer will work on ARM box?

The E2iPlayer is compiled for all the OpenPLi 7.3star images, the ARM box has a much more powerful CPU/Chipset, that is 1800 Mhz and QuadCore, instead of the DualCore 400 Mhz of the DM500HD/DM800HDse... and it has much more Flash memory and RAM. Without talking about the H265/UHD compatibility, that is not on older boxes that are "only" HD/MPEG4/H264.

Naturally all software should run more smoothly, as well as the Kernel of the Drivers/Image is newer. So this should get you software more advanced and quicker.
