Then check if your PID:VID is recognized and found (lsusb and lsmod commands), and check to be sure that the right driver is installed.

As the chipset built-in DM800HDseV1/V2 boxes are :
- 0bda:8172 on Sim2 boxes
- 148F:5370 on Ferrari boxes.

As I remember in your case you need the 8192cu driver (as your PID:VID is 0BDA:8178), check and if you need that one, then install it.

Yes, if you upgrade your box to the Japhar Sim (http://www.japhar.com/japhar/), so it means you remove the old unsupported Sim2 2.20 and replace it by the Japhar DM800HDseV2 sim.

Re: DM800HDseV2 Daily : OpenPLi 6.x+ IPTV Japhar (v5) - 11/08/17 01:53 AM

Hello
I got a little question
before flashing the secondstage bl and then replacing with the japhar sim
In the tutorial the secondstage file is : secondstage-dm800sev2_allsim.nfi
and in the daily build there is a DM800HDseV2_Japhar_OS_v5/secondstage-dm800sev2_SSL88J.nfi
Can I flash with any of those before replacing with the japahr sim or I must use the one from 2016 secondstage-dm800sev2_allsim.nfi ?
Thank you for the feedback

Re: DM800HDseV2 Daily : OpenPLi 6.x+ IPTV Japhar (v5) - 11/08/17 01:56 AM

The SSL88J or the SSL ALLSIM are both "compliant" SSLs compatible with Japhar.

So to do a switch from one sim to another, you need to

- flash the new SSL for the new sim
- turn off box
- open the box and replace the old sim by the new one
- turn on the box in WebIf mode to flash new compatible image
- flash Japhar image

It should work fine.

We explained in the Tutorial a "General way" that would work with any box and any sim, reason of the use of the ALLSIM SSL and for the prior-SSL84, it's necessary to flash the SSL84J/SSL84ALLSIM alone, then turn off box and replace sim and then flash the sim new image.

Admin

P.S.: The difference between the SSL8xJ and the ALLSIM SSL, is that the SSL8xJ is ONLY for Japhar, the ALLSIM SSL will work with any Sim and never give the NO CA ERROR.

Hello
All worked fine
to the point of the image ..
Trying to install cccam from japhar plugin menu
and I just get
Collected errors:
* calculate_dependencies_for: Cannot satisfy the following dependencies for enigma2-plugin-softcams-cccam:
* softcam-support *
* opkg_solver_install: Cannot install package enigma2-plugin-softcams-cccam.

even doing it manually

Re: DM800HDseV2 Daily : OpenPLi 6.x+ IPTV Japhar (v5) - 11/09/17 07:02 PM

You need to install as explained the "Softcam Support", that's the last one on the "Cam OpenPLi" List on the JAM, then you will be able to install Cams.

Re: DM800HDseV2 Daily : OpenPLi 6.x+ IPTV Japhar (v5) - 01/13/18 05:28 PM

Hi Guys, I have found some time to play around with my DM's today.
Strange behaviour on my DM800se V2 with this image Openpli 6.xx Daily Build.
When I try to select a Bouquet with the remote it sets the Animation Circle in motion..!!!!
This happens every time and ALL the time..I cannot select any Bouquet from the List:!!
I have tried several list and always the same results.!
Can anyone give me a Tip how to fix, or is this a Bug.?
Thanks

Re: DM800HDseV2 Daily : OpenPLi 6.x+ IPTV Japhar (v5) - 01/13/18 05:38 PM

Did you tried just to do a normal scan of channels with the build in satellites.xml file etc... to see if it's because you upload a channel list that it fails (that looks incompatible) or that it's the image that is not capable of recognizing any channel.

Re: DM800HDseV2 Daily : OpenPLi 6.x+ IPTV Japhar (v5) - 01/13/18 06:34 PM

OK, Thanks I don't think the List is corrupted or not compatible because I use them all the time on my other DM's 8000 800se and 800 ALL working fine, NO probems.

I use dreamboxEDIT v.7.2.2 (x64)and E-Channelizer v.4.0.1 to Read and Write the Lists into my Boxes. Preferably the E-Channelizer lately, because I can intergate the EPG from my Sat TV List for the IPTV Channels.!! This method works great.!!

Admin is there an "OpenPLi_4.0_Japhar_dm800HDse_wIPTV_v22" for the dm800seV2.?? I have these on 3 other Boxes and they work perfectly and are very stable also after updating IPTV Lists.

Another Q a little off topic maybe, but is there a place to find the actual working Reference numbers for ALL the Sat Channels available Worldwide.

I have so many IPTV Channels (7300) and would like to put EPG on ALL my IPTV Channels!

Thanks

I have absolutely no clue about an international Reference number for worldwide Channels...

Would create something logical, perhaps linked to the phone numbers, like 001 for US/Canada etc, ... 044 for UK, etc

Admin,
maybe I have expressed myself a little confusingly,
what I am looking for is the same "Service Reference" that is used for the "picon" we load onto Box.

All IPTV channels need the same Service References to get the EPG to work.

I was thinking that maybe there is a Site which lists these "Service Reference" numbers for ALL the TV Channels Worldwide
together with the Frequencies, Sat Positions, etc..etc..!
Thanks

Re: DM800HDseV2 Daily : OpenPLi 6.x+ IPTV Japhar (v5) - 01/17/18 03:51 PM

Understood, no idea. Yes, the few numbers at the beggining of the channel line in the ChannelList .tv files and lamedb.

If you find something, please post here as it would probably help other members... but these look to change also... seems not fix in time and for ever.

I think its called a "Stream Custom Unique Reference".

I have an IPTV "wget command" for Enigma2 Stream Service which provides 7300 IPTV +3000 VOD streamed channels Worldwide, so its worth for me get this issue sorted out.
Now my Family and I can enjoy the programs with EPG, picon and choose our preferred Audio channels.

What I have managed to do is to use the "Stream Custom Unique Reference" from my Sat TV Channels in my Settings List that I can receive on my Box via Sat.
ie..Astra 19°E - Hotbird 13°E - Astra 28°E and Thor 1°W.

Then take the "E-Channelizer" Editor and and look at the Tutorials, this..
http://echannelizer.com/guide/how-to-assign-epg-picon/
is a great Tutorial, how to Read and Load the "Stream Custom Unique Reference" from the Sat TV channels and apply this to the same IPTV channel in your settings.

This will then give you ALL the EPG info, picon and Audio choice from the Sat Tv channel, so when you tune into the same IPTV channel, EPG, picon and Audio can be viewed...NOT all the IPTV channels allow you to change the Audio to a different or alternative language but many do.!

But this method ONLY gives you the IPTV EPG, picon and Audio from Sat TV Channels you actually have in your Settings List, NOT the ones you DO NOT receive via your Sat Dish.!
So you have to be on that particular Sat and have the TV channel loaded into your Bouquets Settings to see the same IPTV EPG, picon and Audio infos...but this does work really well.!

Unfortunately I DO NOT have ALL the same Sat TV Channels via my Motorised Dish, as ALL IPTV channels loaded.
Many IPTV Streams are out of View for my Motorised Sat Dish.
I can only Scan Sats from 66°E <<>> 45°W.
So most IPTV are without EPG, picon or the possibility to change Audio, with this method it works for both EPG, picon and Audio.!

I will keep on searching and if I find more or better ways of doing Info I will post.OK
Thanks

No problem, you can post such usefull links, we don't forbid links to other sat forums (all should accept it... anyway)... so go ahead, the important is that all members can find answers to their questions if available here or with links pointing to other places that have the answers the need.

So all good for me, you can.
