Subtitle downloader

Hi
I bought the japhar sim to be able to play subtitles with films i watch on DM
Now I need help installing subtitle downloader, if fails when trying install from , Menu, downloading plugins, have Japhar sim and using image.

"openpli-enigma2-8.0star-dm800sev2_Japhar_v6_GStreamer_1.18.3_20210513"

Please advise.

The OpenPLi 8.0star is newest image, probably Plugins are still at the 7.3star version.

You could have more chances to have plugins working smoothly with the 7.3star.

Version 7.3 didn't help either, what next ? also most of IPTV channels not working !!

Does it works with something or nothing (no channel) at all ?

as only few IP channels are working, i will later put those working in a seperate favorites.
But how about subtitle downloade ipk, evevn on 7.3 ver can't install it, getting the following error

You need to install from the feeds, the package gst-plugin-flv

For the channels that work and the ones that don't, compare the lines, probably you will have numbers on the first series of data, as it will relate to satellite channels, from which the Subtitle will take the on-air EPG.

sorry for too much asking, but where and how to install feeds.

Via telnet, or SSH / Putty,

opkg update
then
opkg install gst-plugin-flv

Ran update as you said and it was done,
but gst-plugin-flv failed.
also in telnet.
Tried putty, user, root is ok but password failed tried, "Blank, dreambox " getting access denied.

Please advice.

I will check to see, can you give me the link to the ipk/plugin for the substitles you want to use ? Or do you use the standard subtitle software built it ?

Can I have privetely your IPTV List, to test on my box and find out how it should be installed and setup ?

Sorry, but was not home for few days, all i do is click on menu, Plugins, green button, choose extensions, and download subtitle downloader which is ver 0.24.2, try to install but it fails as i described earlier.
