Unsuccessfully Openpli DM8000 japhar

Why is the time too long to send the flash over ip? There is no video and audio signal in these images and I could not enable the dvd plugin on my DM8000HD. Someone help me please.

Most probably you are at your first tries, the original DM drivers in use today are buggy and you need to reboot few times your box (OFF/ON Power Button), to have a successful boot (around 30% are), and ONLY once you have the Image logo and then the Tuners recognized the image will work smoothly.

The issue is with the original drivers and we are patching the latest ones to fix that issue to replace the original old drivers to have no more problems at boot.

So for now, until we release the new drivers patched, you will need to try to reboot only the GUI, or if you do a full reboot you will have to do it few times until one is successful.

My dm8000 is clone. I bought with sim card ferrari and now I am with sim card japhar. Can I install the original images with sim card japhar?

With the Japhar Sim you can use the old Ferrari images (and it will boot normally) or the Japhar images. The latest OE2.0 Japhar images with the DM8000HD will have the boot issue.

To give you a answer on your question... No, if you flash this box with a original image file you could risk that the box become bricked.

In any case, when using the japhar sim card it's better to upload the japhar software and when it's finished the japhar ssl bootloader file.
I've done a dozen of them, and they all succeeded.

Openpli japhar..
The first boot may fail, this you notice when you don't see the openpli landscape picture while booting.
When it fails, you need to reboot the box until you get the picture.
When you have that, then everything should work fine and this is only related to the dm8000hd box.

Is there any image for the dm8000 box with kernel 3.3.1?

For now only Kernel 2.6 (But OE2.0, like OpenPLi 4.0, OpenBlackHole and DE-OpenBlackHole 1.5), there is Kernel 3.2 drivers being worked / patched and once we will have finished these will be released with the new images (OpenPLi 4.0+, OpenPLi 5.0+, OpenPLi 6.0+, OpenBlackHole 4.0+, DE-OpenBlackHole 1.5+, OpenATV, etc etc).

because the dm800 box has kernel 3.3.1 and the dm8000 does not have it?

Doesn't exist Kernel 3.3.1 for DM8000HD boxes, only Kernel 2.6 and Kernel 3.2.

DM800HDpvr boxes have only Kernel 2.6.

I can not install this plugin attached to the dm8000 box. However, whoever has the dm800 box can. Can you help?

ps. change the file extension from .nfi to .ipk!!

Check with the creator/author of that plugin, as he is the only one who knows what he does really and can fix bugs that could get it having problems.
