Hello,

Which image did you flashed when this happened ?

The Red Light should indicate that the box is ready for Flashing to our experience.

Try to connect with USB Cable on PC to Service Port on Box, with COM port of Putty (Check Com port number), and speed 115200 and post here (in attachment of message the LOG of Putty, in a RAR/ZIP file).

Re: Redlight flash error DreamOne - 09/03/19 10:47 AM

You can always, be sure you use properly the USB cable and it's recognized by your computer. Try again only with such log we can help you.

We mean connecting with USB Cable from PC to back Service port of box (Putty to COM port in 115200 bps), not Putty via RJ45/Network IP.

When you connect the box/cable your computer will recognize the port and you can find in the settings the correct COM port to set on Putty. When you have it you connect the cable setting the COM properly at speed 115200 bps with Putty and will see on the Putty console all details of boot and failures. Copy all text to file and post here.

Yes it's probably COM10 that you need to use,

If you have no output, it means the box is DEAD, as any box if it has a minimum of life would give an output via the COM/Service port.

Try again, as I beleive you probably do something wrong.

P.S.: See our example with our DreamOne on COM7

P.S.2 : Bold Menu
Dream One To Connect the putty with the service port. Turn off the device. When you turn it on, hold the C + ctrl to go to the bolt menu.

Unfortunately, I don't have a login that only recognizes Windows port and after the light blue light turns on the red light of the POWER key starts.

The putty software logging will work in any situation, booting, crashing, flash mode/recovery mode etc.

So it's important to setup properly Putty and have it showing the console.

Try with another computer,

I have the same settings on the Drembox 900 and 920 logs but not on the tub so the problem can't be the computer system. A key beside an embedded flash drive What is the function of this key Do you know about this master?

The CPU is cool and the device does not react after power ON only starts flashing red after the power is turned on.

The only way to see from the outside world is thru the console (Service Port and USB Cable to a Terminal software such as Putty via COM Port), I don't see any other way. Probably you have to contact Dream then for support.

Thank you

Unfortunately, we live in a country where access to support and referral for repair is difficult. it's very difficult. In any case, thanks for following you, dear manager.

Try to post here, it's the official support section, perhaps they can find something but without log on service port probably it will be difficult.

Re: Redlight flash error DreamOne - 09/07/19 11:16 PM

You need to format a SD Card in FAT, then name it "DREAMBOOT", and put it on the SD reader. Then turn on the box and it should stop during first steps of boot and you should be able to connect with Putty in COM mode to the service port. Using then the console to send all proper commands to restore the box.

But this to work, you should have the console/putty working, and this is why we asked you few times to check/be sure the console works on the service port... so try another PC as I am still very surprised that you have nothing on your Putty console during startup of box.
