How remove CCCam OpenPLi 8

Hey guys. I try find way to remove CCCam 2.3.2 Under red button i got this message , also I tried by telnet also same error.
I even deleted cccam.cfg by TC from my DM, but all channel still uncoded , crazy

In the opkg remove command you must add the "--force-remove" to force it, here it gives error telling that the softcam.CCcam file is not there anymore (in /etc/init.d), and then fails.

Hey again. I was happy 2 days grrrr
Today I wanted close my box after all adventures with DM.
I put HDD and start doing some backup. And problems again back with CCCam.
Fist again gone CCCcam and need delete by --force remove to can install from beginig..
But biggest problem is under Blue Panel gone 1st option, choice for cam. Can't find any place to switch it to be back visible. I uninstalled oscam and cccam and install all from begining, but stil not see option 1 under blue panel to choice cam. Any advice ?

Hi guys.
Maybe someone can explain me whats going on with my DM8000. Again problems.
I was on holidays more then 2 weeks, nobody touch my DM this 2 weeks.
Back home, swich on and again see every 10-12 sec freeze on CCCAM all channels.
I deleted by telnet all cccam things, restart and still working all channels! Even I set up CAM to NONE! Reset and still working all channels (with freeze of course). Stop working after when delete cccam config.
And I start instalin from begining CCCAM , choice from blue panel openpli CCCAM 2.3.8 and after install made restart GUI. And now yello line going to half way and stop working. Restart again few times and still same shit.
I spent before a lot hours to configura all picons etc for perfect for me and now all crash all again. Really I want shot this DM8000 on the floor.. Drive me to crazy this box....
Is there any chance now to put new image without lost all picons/settings/ etc... ?
Or need do all from begingn ?
Is there any way now to connect with DM by telnet and delte this cccam 2.3.8 ???

The settings are in the box, so you can backup them and put them on a new image, as well as icons that should be on a specific folder.

It would be important to have the error log, to understand the exact issue. If it's a power problem, you can disconnect the extra tuners, DVD/CD, HDD, and remove the Pay-TV Cards. Then see if the box boots properly.

The main settings are in the /etc/enigma2 folder, so you would need to telnet/ftp/SSH to the box to backup/copy them.

How I can now connect with DM and download all? Still I got message - connection failed on Total Commander or DCC-E2 DM is connect by LAN cable with router. Only I can do IP for flashing, but not work with TC or DCC.

Check if IP changed or not, as if the Orange/Yellow line goes on/off, it's during boot process that something goes wrong, but the box should be already with an IP and we could hope that telnet, ssh and ftp services are loaded.

Try to ping the IP of the box as well, to see if it answers.

But all this looks to me some power problem... try to turn off the box for a night, and then try to connect to it turning it on on the morning.

Ping for IP working only if DM is in flash mode.
This problem start when tried install CCCAM 2.3.8 , its also was same problem weeks ago when you helped me install all.. After when installed cccam 2.3.2 and later manually cccam 2.3.9 restared many times and all was good...2 weeks and cccam start freezing...

When yello line on LCD going to 50% , welcom screen OpenPli visible maybe 30 seconds.. and LCD start be dark and on TV information that HDMI lost signal.. that after it looks like DM totally shot down, after restart all from begining.. checked ping when half yellow line was and after it , and not possible connect with DM, also TC and DCC not connect, connection failed...

You didn't done back then a backup of the installation that was working ? If yes, you can reflash it and it will work fine... if you didn't, you will have to reinstall all but this time do a backup once all is working, so if the box fails you can always reflash a finished installation image.

No , not did backup tomorrow reinnsall all from beginig and let you know.. I will do backup to pendrive because HDD I kick out from box last time...

Ok, sure let us know, always keep a backup once you have a fully working image with all setups as you like... it really helps in such cases. It also allows you to do some "tests" and if these fail, you can always return back to the backup image.

Hi guys again. Today I had a lot time and did a lot tests.
Of course flashed with new image etc... but...
Still is problem with CCCAM. Freezing screen every 10-12 sec...then i started uninstall step by step cccam things..
I uninstalled first CCCAM main 2.3.2 and reboot, after it channels still working with freezing... uninstalled cccam 2.3.9 and reboot..after it still working all channels..under blue panel i setup softcam - none! Reboot and again all channels working (with freezing of course)
How it possible that cams deleted, setup for sofcam - none and still box decoding channels.. ??

Of course sometimes no freezing cccam after new flashing (today made maybe 10-15 times) but start install some things like picons or something addods and after it start cccam freezing.. but cant find point what destroying cccam. Because one time after isnatll picons start freezing , next time after picons not start freezing...
That dont know what is responsible for crash cccam..

You probably installed an ipk that force the install of CCcam, perhaps you had few CCcam running at the same time ?

You can see all software running on the box with "ps -ef" command in console... and check if you have various versions of CCcam that are running simultaneously.

Now I installed all from beginign without CCCam things..
I want do now backup to pendrive before install CCCam.
I choice all files menu to backup and after initiation backup running and running and no see endign of backup..
Maybe you can help which files catalogs are important for backup ?

I did all, have backup on pendrive but now i see new problem which never saw before..really this DM drive me crazy...
Now when I want install CCCAM i see info:

do not ask to install package providing gstreamer 1.0 plugins bad mpegtsdemux

I see this 1st time, never saw before and dont know how find solution to fix it..

This is happen when manually want install ipk and also same problem when want install addod from menu...

The CCcam installation should not require gstreamer ! Which package are you installing for CCcam ???

I make installation which made before all time and worked. Now not work. Nothing new... Same error if try install 2.3.0 or 2.3.2 from softcams menu or 2.3.9 manually ipk , its start happen today

Check the Space you have available with "df -h" command, as you cannot install 3 CCcams... it will fill all the Flash available and box will stall and crash.

If you have DM8000HD, with our latest images, you should have plenty of flash memory... but still be careful of which ipk you install, it MUST be for the image you use, as every Cam package is destinated to a particular family of images.

Describe your problem/error, as talking about error is to generic ;o)

Now finally probably found what making problem.
I installed all step by step and make backup after every step.
CCcam 2.3.2 working perfect without freezing screen. But not work some channles like Canal+ Poland (need be CCcam 2.3.9).
Before I installed always CCcam 2.3.9 by ipk manually. I found now another 2.3.9 MIPS file, and unzip , change name for CCcam and replace in bin catalog CCcam 2.3.2 file (same name of course i make like instruction) and now of course screen freezing on all channles every 10-12 seconds. That problem is 100% with CCcam 2.3.9.
Now I back by TC again original CCcam 2.3.2 and stop freezing but of course canal+ now work...That 100% CCam 2.3.9 made problems with freezing. Problem is I used 2 different sources of this CCcam 2.3.9 and its happen on both. I use OpenPLi 8.1Star 20211112 GSt 1.18.5 (v6) Japhar Team. I dont know is it specific CCcam 2.3.9 for this image...

I think it's due to the CCcam 2.3.8/9, I had exactly the same problem few months ago, now I remember these version freezes, ugly (was due to the use old older CCcam versions as "servers")... in our images the Oscam is built-in why not trying it ? It should work very well in your box as on our OpenPLi images it's compiled with the image so it's 100% compatible.

Never used oscam. Toomorrow try find some instruction how start with that and we will see how it will be work. Just read on other forums that some people has same problem with freeze, but some not have problems and all working good with DM8000 with 2.3.9, that is strage for me..

Yes, the 2.3.8 and 2.3.9 freeze when using CCcam servers that are lower than 2.3.x... remove all servers and you will see, just add one at a time.

I installed by menu only one 2.3.2. Later only replace file by total commander for 2.3.9 . (before i installed 2.3.2 and by ipk 2.3.9) and under blue panel had both for choice. Now only replace that under blue panel is only one cccam for choice, but still freeze after replace. When upload by TC original 2.3.2 stop freeze. Tomorrow try look this Oscam softcam.

btw.
I have question about CI Cam. I have Diablo CAM - Underwordl 2.16
My DM not see this CI on any socket. CAM for shure is OK because is visible in Cryptobox. But Dream not see it...

The CI should work and would be recognized, CI+ is not.

Yes CI+ I know not work, but it is old Diablo and not visible in any slot..

Did you set on the Softcam section to "Common Interface" instead of CCcam/Oscam etc ?
