I installed the VU+ Solo image today and when completed I am unable to download via the Ferrari panel - message says downloading info and then disappears. Also I am unable to telnet to the box, I am using the same login used for the ftp which is working.

I was previously using this image and was able to download without any issues.

You need to install the JAM that you have on Plugin section from the Forum,

Login in telnet and ftp works, check that you use the correct IP address

Will the Ferrari download manager not work now then?

Ferrari closed support of DM and VU+ Clones,... you can check on their forum, all is gone.

You have to upgrade to the JAM 5.2 (that is successor of FAM 5.1)

Ok thanks for the info. I was using this same image on my box until yesterday and I was able to access the Ferrari panel and download. I had a problem with my box and re-flashed and only since then does the panel not work. Strange that it worked before?

There is 2 different FAM, the 5.0 and 5.1, the JAM 5.2 came when we moved here.

Ferrari Team stopped the 5.0 server, and moved the server 5.1, but you need to install then the 5.1, but we don't have it or support it. So it's better to use the JAM 5.2 that is supported here.

The problem is that I cannot remove the Ferrari 5.0 Addon Manager. I removed the folder from the Extensions folder via FTP, rebooted my box but when I preess green then yellow Ferrari still opens! It seems that I can't install any other downloader...

Without a doubt the best firmware for my vu solo Ferrari V3, together with FAM 5.2, JAM 5.2: Japhar / Ferr Addon Manager, thanks for sharing your work
