DM800 control impossible

Hi,I have upgraded my DM800HD to Openpli v.22 cklean image with the intention of solving the problem of the remote control that doesn't respond to comands.
I did not solve this problem though, the remote control buttons however blink when I press them, maybe is an hw issue on the receiver.
What puzzles me is the fact that I can no longer access with the default credentials or changed on the web interface and have not the ability to change channels.

At startup when prompted to do a restore of settings I can not select no with the remote control for the problem above...

Try another Remote Control,

And try to reflash the image "clean" with the Bad Sector Recovery enabled, perhaps it could help, also be sure you have enough Flash space available before adding anything... if not do the clean script to get some Flash available, less then 1 Mb at the final is not good, and you need to have 2-3 Mb at least before any installation.

I think it's a remote control issue at this point ... I've got a backup from an old backup and I manage it from owif for now

Remote control looks fine, the front panel has problems, lcd diplay no longer lights up...I don't find any replacement piece...

You need to check for this part, but you probably can just change the I/R on the board, as it's already mostly dead, it's not of much risks at this point.

Here is one, expensive, but you probably can find if you ask on the Sat Italian Forums, as there is for sure few DM800HD around for parts.

Hmm in that case selling for that price I'm a rich guy because I have allot of brand new displays from the dm800hd which were a gift from Dreambox China.

But if he needs one much cheaper than the ebay seller, just give me a Pm for more details.
