Good afternoon all.

Hoping for a little help from the good people of Our Dreambox World, who have very recently helped me bring my (NO CA FOUND) receiver back to life. (Thank you once more)

Thanks to the aforementioned people I now have the OpenPLi 4.0 MastaG GStreamer 1.6.2 image installed and running.

The only problem I am having is that I can't find anywhere within the image that allows me to install a softcam.
(Have tried Blue button, tec)

Specifically I am looking to install Mgcamd, if any of the forum members could help me out with a little guidance I would very much appreciate it.

Install the JAM 5.x and if the SoftManager is not there you can also install it thru the JAM.

Unfortunately there is no Japhar Addons Manager listed in the plugins page. (1st link)
When I press "Download plugins" after about 10 seconds the screen says "No new plugins found".

I cannot find the screen that is shown in the 2nd link.

You have to install the JAM, then you will have the second screen with the JAM installed (if you don't install you will not see it ;o)

Please excuse me if I am perhaps being a little slow on the uptake but, exactly how do I install the JAM ?
(An idiots guide if available would be good)

All is explained on the topic about the JAM, please read all the first page messages, and apply what suits for your image, the little how to do is there and cannot be more simple than how it is posted.

I have already read that first page (And others) of the link that you have posted and I am no closer to understanding exactly how to install the JAM.

Unless I am reading it wrong, one post actually states that the JAM comes pre-installed on the OpenPLi images.
(Not on mine, it doesn't)

I am reletively new to this and might perhaps benefit from instruction that is a little more detailed.

Its pre-installed on the images for DM Japhar Sim and Ferrari VU+.

For other boxes/sims, you have to install it yourself as explained on the topic about the JAM, so to take Telnet or SSH, connect to your box and send the commands for the installation/box/image you have as explained on the posts. You have to select the one for your configuration, like DE-OpenBlackHole image or OpenPli and OE2.0 or OE1.6. You have all there and the text to send to install it, then reboot.

Salve ho un problema con i canali del digitale terrestre specialmente per i canali hd anche quelli in chiaro tipo rai1hd, rai2hd ecc. Decoder DM500HD immagine OpenPLi 4.0 con Sim Japhar, il messaggio che esce e questo canale "non trovato! sid non trovato" nel program association table pat

Sei sicuro d'istallare la lista canali giusta per te, perche le frequenze del digitale terrestre cambiano abbastanza tra una regione o cita e l'altra.

Come ricevi il Digitale Terrestre, quale dongle usi e come l'hai istallato ?

Benissimo, funziona bene con nostra OpenPLi 4.0 IPTV, una volta istallata l'imagine OpenPLi 4.0 IPTV, fai la configurazione, questo fatto, fai la pulizzia per lasciare un po di spazio, poi istalla l'A867.

Questo fatto, poi puoi istallare la A867 direttamente dal JAM come spiegato in questo topic,
