Clubbing TV Russia launches with Rostelecom

Dance music channel Clubbing TV has launched in Russia after securing carriage on Rostelecom’s TV platform.

The new Clubbing TV Russia channel includes locally produced magazine shows, interviews and DJ sets and has been localized in partnership with Russian production and sales agency Media4You.

The channel is available on Rostelecom’s platform in the Optimal, Advanced and Maximum packages, giving it a potential reach of 950,000 homes in the country.

The Russian version of the channel is the second localized version of Clubbing TV, following its launch of an Adria region version.

“Electronic Music is the fastest growing music genre in the world, and its DJs, artists & festivals are very popular in Russia where we are proud and excited to launch our second full localization after Clubbing TV Adria which is already broadcasted in Serbia and the Adriatic region. We’re glad to start our presence in the region with Rostelecom thanks to our very productive partnership with Media4you. We will make new announcements soon on more exciting developments with them,” said Stephane Schweitzer, Clubbing TV’s CEO and founder.

“The launch of the channel Clubbing TV in high-definition format on Interactive TV is an excellent news for all electronic music lovers and club events. Interactive TV is developed with the aim of allowing viewers to find the content they like, regardless of their age, hobbies or interests. Moreover, all the family members can watch their content simultaneously on different screens, without interfering with each other, thanks to the multiscreen service. Clubbing TV HD provides a content which truly appeals to a young audience,” said Rostelecom director of content Andrey Golovanov.
