Hello, i tried with JapharFlasher but still the same, but between my tries now i see that shows on display just error! with no ca found and i tried to connect with putty with serial and ethernet cable and when i power on db the red led is blinking then in putty shows (c) 2007,2008 Dream Multimedia GmbH. All rights reserved.
Dreambox DM800

Second stage loader wasn't found. Don't panic - it's not a (real) problem.
You don't need to repair your Dreambox. It just means that the flashrom with
the graphical menu was erased. You can restore this with a tool like DreamUp
with serial access.

no tftp bootfile name was specified, neither manually nor via dhcp. aborting tftp.
tftp failed. Shows that takes ip for a little time but then tftp failed, do you know how can be fixed? Thank you

JapharFlasher works 100%, with ALL Sims (Original or Clone), but you need : - RS232 cable connected to the PC and DM800HD - RJ45 cable connected to the Router and the DM800HD (and Network must be activated in JapharFlasher with a correct IP for the PC and for the box within the domain network of the Router) Also, remember that sometimes the DM800HDpvr boxes can fail because of the 4 big capacitors, if these are defective (see topic below), you MUST replace them, as the box will never boot if these are bad. Best tip is to replace it by a new Sim to stop this error.

If it were from capacitors db wouldn't boot at all or had frezee's Maybe it's from sim card But this message on putty that takes ip but then tftp fails doesn't mean something? Or something can be done via putty to flash a bootloader?
