Most probably your Dreambox DM500HD has a Japhar Sim, open it and check, it could be v3 Japhar, but you can upgrade it easily via the Japhar Addon Manager in the image to the v6, if the tuners after installation doesn't work or you have no boot screen (Stays black).

As explained above, you need to use the Japhar Addon Manager in the Plugins, to select (I think the second option) where then you have all boxes sim upgrades, and you select the one to upgrade to v6 the DM500HD Japhar sim (title will be like upgrade sim to "DM500HD v6").

Then tuner will be working fine,
