We compile the official version of OpenPLi. So we stick with the specifications of the image in use officially to have an official version and not a "Frankenstein version".
Probably OpenPLi will release a version 10, which will upgrade the Python built-in. We also want to keep our versions compatible and enough small to be working on old hardware such as DM800HDse v1 (64 Mb).
