I have a question for Warlord: I bought a sim Japhar .nc3 for my Inetbox 500HD Ferrari to use it to see the IPTV. I ask if I can directly install the sim on the receiver and then load the Open Pli 4.0 or earlier if the sim should be programmed with the ssl Japhar 84.

If you do it as explained on the document you should have no problem. The important questions are :

- Which sim did you had before ? Ferrari ? or Sim2 ?

If you had a Ferrari, then the Japhar is Dual in DM500HD mode, so it can run all Ferrari and Japhar images. So you can directly swap the sim card and it will continue working.

If you have a Sim2, you will have to keep the Sim2 in the box, and flash the SSL84J.NFI (alone) then turn off box and replace sim then boot the box in download mode to flash a Japhar or Ferrari image. The best right now is the DM500HD OpenPli 4.0 IPTV from MastaG.

Remember that if you had a version older than SSL84F/J (SSL87F/SSL88F), you will always need to load the SSL84J alone, reboot and then the full image based on SSL84J. As older SSL have a different Flash memory organisation, so it's necessary to "reformat it" by using the SSL84J when you load a new image.

Hello Toysoft and thanks for the reply. My receiver has sim Ferrari ssl87f.
So as I understand it I can install the new Open PLi 4.0 then, without restarting it off the decoder, replace the sim and this will come back to work without my having to first program the sim. It's correct?

there will be a supersim3 OS version for DM500HD too ?

The Japhar NC3 exists for DM800HD, DM800HDse, DM500HD and DM8000HD (you can find the various OS on the Japhar box sections). We are at early stage for the DM800HDseV2.

I noticed for dm800hd the 'SuperSim3' version, compatible with sim201 too, there will be a version like this for some other boxes or only a dm800 exclusive ?

For now the information we have allow it only for DM800HD, but as every member can reflash his sim, we never know what future can bring,

So did i understood correct, that with a .nc3 SIM I am able just to flash Ferrari or Japhar Images. And NO 2.01 Images?

There is 2 types of OS, actually you can flash ALL 2.01 images into your DM800HD box, as the SuperSim3 Japhar NC3 for DM800HD is a Triple Sim, so it does ALL images Sim 1.0, ALL images Sim2 2.01/2.10, ALL images Ferrari and ALL images Japhar.

As you can see on the DM800HD Japhar section, you have all images supported/compatible.

P.S.: For DM500HD/DM800HDse/DM8000HD, it's DUAL, so it supports ALL Ferrari and Japhar images.
