Your Sim Socket is glued ? Tips on how to remove... or replace. We faced very few times an issue as the Sim was glued on the socket, this happened with the original boxes and with the Sim 1.0 DM800HD clones. There is few options : - Original Boxes with Transparent or White Glue (DM8000HD/DM100, A2P Sims) : If the glue is transparent/white, it's not really a glue, but more some plastic that can be removed easily with a nail. So carefully with your nail push on it in the right direction to get it out of the plastic with no damages. Generally it's simple and easy. You will remove it in a good way with absolutely no damages to the sim and the socket. - Original Boxes with Black Glue (DM800HDse/DM500HD/DM7020HD, A8P Sims) :Use a knife or cutter and insert it in between the black glue that is like glass, and the white plastic of the sim. It will break by small pieces and you should be able to remove it with some difficulty, but in a good way with no damages to the sim and the socket. - Clone DM800HD and Original Boxes with Black Glue all over the side of the socket and sim (Some DM800HD and DM8000HD, mostly A2P Sims/Sim 1.0 T1 and T3/T4) :The best is to break a leg or even both of the top socket, and remove it. Our Socket available at http://www.japhar.com/japhar/ is 100% compatible and you can use the top socket part to replace it (Please advise us this is for replacing the top, so we can remove it already for you from the lower socket part). See photo below for more infos on how and what to do. Just be careful to not break the 2 little parts on the sub socket that retain the top socket. Hope this helps you, TS

Second type of Sim card socket, removal of the top socket from the back of the simcard socket.
- Reverse the socket, to watch it from the bottom/back/under - Check the little space/bigger hole on the "connection/link" between the top and bottom, it allows you on the top to remove it gently and separate both.
