I buy a new Super Sim Japhar for my dm8000HD. I did a installation of image open pli OpenPLi_4.0_Japhar_DM8000HD_wIPTV_v20 ....I found support for DVD Player and the display flashes the DM8000 when I change the network parameters for no dhcp.



know of any image that is stable for my DM8000 clone and have support dvd player?

The software you talk about is working with all Enigma2 images, you just need to install it properly. Here we have no experience doing it, here in Europe it's not used.

If it's not recognized, I believe that your DVD is not compatible ? There is 2 ways to plug it in, via the USB-SATA converter below of the PSU, and via the SATA connector on the motherboard near to the DVD Player slot. Try both and check if the hardware is recognized with the usual Linux commands.

If I remember well there is as well on the DE-OpenBlackHole 1.4 Support section in the JAM 5.x, the DVD support plugin or something like that to install.

C Band is really not used here in Europe, so we have no idea, generally you have to check on the Remote Control, the Yellow button that gives you access to Audio streams... perhaps you can find something there.

Pressing the Red or Yellow you should go one step further, did you tried ?

I tried to do. The red button only changes the AC3 downmix to yes or no and the yellow button changes to subtitle or audio tracks only.

Ku band works perfectly.

Band C is not AC3 option. Only MPEG and AACC..... The problem is that I love this current image Domica, it is very stable. But I am no AC3 audio.

Probably wait feedback from Domica Team or creator.
