Without internet (cable from router not connected) my DM7020HDv2 doesn´t start up from switched off. When I switch it on from the back panel it normally starts booting, but when booting comes to the end the display goes black, TV screen black also, any action on the receiver is impossible, it doesn´t respond to any command except switching it off on the back panel. Switching it on again the same thing repeats. If, at that point, I connect the internet cable to ethernet, everything starts working normally. If then I disconnect internet again, everything stays working as it should. Which means that DM7020HDv2 needs internet for booting also. So, using it as an autonomous, PC independent hard disk player is impossible.

Has it anything to do with missing SSL? I flashed a Dream-Elite image to the receiver directly, without installing a second stage bootloader first.

No such problems with my other Dreamboxes, DM8000 and DM500HDv1 and v2. They normally boot and receive channels (the not encrypted ones) without internet connection. Is needing internet for booting successfully normal DM7020HDv2 functioning or is there something wrong with it? If so, what should I do? Try to install a SSL (saw it posted in this forum), reboot and then reflash?
