You need to check the print tracks to the chip legs to know the connection because some tracks are connected from the other side, to under the chip.
In any case, the most important are the Scl/Sda/Vcc/Gnd connections and also the Vcc track must be 3.3v, not 5v.
On your chip must the Sda/Scl have the same chip pins connection as the solo/duo v3 syncmos chips, otherwise it may not work with a Vu J chip because it may indicate that the chip is different programmed than the solo/duo syncmos chips.
Also you need to find a better place to add wires/socket to it because these syncmos chips are different connected than the vu J chip.

For example the Syncmos Solo sda-scl picture which is from a solo v3,
Other picture is from a duo chip v3, in any case both do the same and have the same chip pins connections, only the connector pins P5/Rx/Tx are different to the connector, but when you use the sequence Rx/Tx/Vcc/SDA/SCL/Ground then it is suitable for the Vu J Chip module version.
However the sequence Rx/Tx may differ, the Vu J chip module board has jumper wires for it to change it.
But, in most cases you don't need them, only the Sda/Scl/Vcc and ground are sufficient to work with this board.

In any case, If you want to use the Vu J chip, then you must have the module version and remove the syncmos chip from the motherboard.
You also need to find a way to make a connector version from it.
If it's works on this type box, I can not say, never had this type box and so not tested with this chip.
